Medical Extrusion Technologies, Inc. (MET) is pleased to announce the addition of Brian Frechette to our Lewisville, TX manufacturing  location.  In his new role, Brian will serve as General Manager/Plant Manager for our growing operations in Lewisville, which focuses on extrusion and expansion of Fluoropolymers and other engineered materials. Brian and his family recently relocated to the Lewisville area from Minneapolis, MN.  Most recently, Brian was employed by St. Jude Medical (previously AGA Medical) in the Supply Chain Operations group in Plymouth, MN.  Prior to his time at St. Jude Medical, Brian served in a variety of roles with Donaldson Company Inc. in Bloomington, MN.  Brian’s extensive supply chain, operations,  and industry knowledge will allow us to further refine our operational excellence and customer focus.

Medical Extrusion Technologies, Inc. Announces Expansion.

Medical Extrusion Technologies, Inc. is pleased to announce it's recent expansion to better serve the medical marketplace.  We have expanded our capabilities for extruding thermoplastic flouropolymers (PFA, FEP, ETFE, Kynar) and PEEK products with the opening of MET-Texas in Lewisville, TX.  Additionally, we have increased our capacity for all other thermoplastic extrusions with the opening of our MET-Minnesota facility in Elk River, MN. Typical mandates of one week delivery requirements, or less, as well as balancing the risk of a one-facility provider prompted us to be proactive with our customers. The additional six new extrusion lines will provide quicker response and expanded capabilities to service our customers and provide the flexibility for a steady stream of products drawn from multiple plant locations. Medical Extrusion Technologies, Inc. is based in Murrieta, CA.

Materials processed by MET include Pebax, nylon, polyurethane, polyethylene, polycarbonate and thermoplastic elastomers such as C-Flex.  Additional capabilities include multi-lumen, striping, wire encapsulation, film and profile extrusion.

End Markets for tubing produced by MET include cardiology, neurology, nephrology, drug administration, endoscopy, and intravenous operations.
 

01 Apr 98 -Medical Extrusion Technologies, Inc. moves to its new location.

Murietta, CA.   Medical Extrusion Technologies, Inc. (M.E.T.), a manufacturer of custom tubing extrusions from thermoplastic resins, has just acquired a new, 16,600 sq. ft. manufacturing facility in Murrieta, CA.  This new facility will allow Medical Extrusion Technologies to meet the needs of its clients to a greater degree than ever before.  M.E.T. is well respected in the tubing industry and it is expected that the corporation will continue to grow with this new addition of real estate.
